Events that can grant a player new crewmembers. Some crewmembers have a preset race and/or name - this is specified on the events pages (see special events crew). If a crewmember's race is not predefined/hard-coded or specified, then it can be of any of the possible races for the current sector type (see crew rarity).
This category contains 2 groups of events:
- Crew reward chance: possibility for a crewmember reward with no guarantees; some blue options can improve the probability for the positive outcome.
- Crew reward opportunity: certain blue options, event paths/choices, or correct actions guarantee a crewmember reward. This category supersedes 'chance' reward category (i.e. if there is at least 1 option that can guarantee a crewmember reward, then this category will be applied instead of the 'chance' category).
