You are immediately hailed by a dangerous looking ship. "I'm feeling generouss today. I shall allow you to choose your own death. Which do you like leasst: shields, oxygen, or weaponsss?"

1. Shields.
   • "Very good then!" Your shield power suddenly drops and they charge.
     • Your shield system's maximum power is halved (rounded down).
       • (After destroying enemy ship) The Slug ship breaks apart and your shields return to normal. You collect what you can.
         • Your shield system return to normal and you receive a medium amount of scrap and resources.
       • (After killing enemy crew) With their crew dead, you quickly shut off their hacking module and your shields return to normal. You strip the ship.
         • Your shield system returns to normal and you receive a high amount of scrap and resources.
2. Oxygen.
   • "A being that would choose sssuffocation? Who am I to judge..." Your life support shuts off and they move in to attack.
     • Your oxygen system's maximum power is halved (rounded down).
       • (After destroying enemy ship) The Slug ship breaks apart and your systems return to normal. You collect what you can.
         • Your oxygen system returns to normal and you receive a medium amount of scrap and resources.
       • (After killing enemy crew) With their crew dead, you quickly shut off their hacking module and your systems return to normal. You strip the ship.

3. Weapons.
   • "Your acceptance of death is almosst admirable... Almosst." Your weapons system registers a hacking module. You hardly have time to respond before they attack.
     • Your weapon system's maximum power is halved (rounded down).
       • (After destroying enemy ship) The Slug ship breaks apart and your systems return to normal. You collect what you can.
         • Your weapon system returns to normal and you receive a medium amount of scrap and resources.
       • (After killing enemy crew) With their crew dead, you quickly shut off their hacking module and your systems return to normal. You strip the ship.
         • Your weapon system returns to normal and you receive a high amount of scrap and resources.
     • Note: The Artillery Beam is not affected.
4. Offer 35 scrap to leave you alone.
   • "I really am feeling generousss..." They take the scrap and leave.
