  • I was skimming over the Ships page and came upon the picture you added. Is that an ipad picture? For it shows a '3' for the Lanius and Crystal Cruisers, which seems to indicate there's a C Layout for those ships on ipad. Is that true?

If you say that's an exclusive thing that PC users just lucked out of, I'm going to flip a table right now.

    • The '3' is not for the layouts (those indicators are at the top) but instead it is to indicate which ship achievements you have completed. The 'V' box indicates what layouts you have used in a victory, while the 'Q' indicates that you have completed the quest for the ship. :)

Yup thats right. That is not the iPad version though either. But, it looks very simiar ^_^ The Lanius/Crystal ships are at the bottom of the screen instead and have the 1, 2, 3, V, and Q icons on iPad.

  • AAAAHHH THAT LOOKS AWESOME

I play PC for all my games, but I've heard so many wonderful things about the iPad version of FTL. Do you also play the PC version, or are you exclusive to the iPad?

I know the game data doesn't overlap from one to the other, but I was just curious.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello!

    • I have 60 hours on PC FTL, so no, not exclusive to iPad ^_^

It is quite wonderful though since its the exact game from PC, but mobile.

    • I wish I had a mobile FTL game...

Guess I'm buying an iPad! :3

    • Keep in mind, there is one downside. So much finger moving! A lot simpler with a mouse.

I have an iPad Mini though, so its a little less cumbersome to play.

    • IMO, if you're playing a strategy game on a mobile device, there should be a lot of finger moving happening. ;-)

I wouldn't have thought the Mini would be a better choice for FTL, but I can see your reasoning. Maybe I'll go with a mini as well...but I digress.

      Thanks for the info!
