This random event occurs in:
- Civilian Sector
- Rebel Controlled Sector
- Rebel Stronghold
- Uncharted Nebula
in a nebula with plasma storm. Can also occur as a nebula filler event in any sector.
"You jump into a sector of the nebula beset by a plasma storm. An automated rebel scout stationed at the beacon moves in to attack.
- Prepare to fight.
- Fight an Auto-Ship. (default rewards)
- (Engines) Attempt to out-run it. (Requires level 3 Engines)
- You successfully lose the ship in the storm.
- Nothing happens.
- Despite your advanced engines you are unable to shake them; you turn and prepare for a fight.
- Fight an Auto-Ship. (default rewards)
- You successfully lose the ship in the storm.
- (Improved Engines) Attempt to out-run it. (Requires level 6 Engines)
- You successfully lose the ship in the storm.
- Nothing happens.
- You successfully lose the ship in the storm.
- (Cloaking) Use your cloaking to escape.
