A newly obtained Lanius crewmember will not immediately absorb all of the oxygen in the room they appear in. They will slowly drain it as normal for the race. However, when you move to the next beacon, the room the crewmember is in will no longer have oxygen in it. Be Careful.

On the producer's homepage, the Lanius are described as a metallic scavenger race prone to aggression, whose biological composition somehow drains oxygen from the rooms they occupy, making them potentially deadly adversaries.

A newly obtained Lanius crewmember will not immediately absorb all of the oxygen in the room they appear in. They will slowly drain it as normal for the race. However, when you move to the next beacon, the room the crewmember is in will no longer have oxygen in it. Be Careful.

Lanius have the following particularities:

  • Reduced move speed
  • They don't lose any life in a room with insufficient oxygen
  • They slowly drain the oxygen in the room where they are, in the same way as a breach
