This random event may show up occasionally in a slug-controlled nebula, when landing on a beacon with a ship.
- A slug captain hails and invites himself aboard your ship to present a flask of something slimy. "Now, most gracioussss captain, you must join me please in a drink to our alliance."
If you drink, he sometimes rob you of scrap while you are unconscious. On a rare occasion he will repair your ship and give you the ability to buy his cargo. If you refuse, he returns to his ship and opens fire.
If you have a rockman on board, there will be a blue option for him to pose as the captian. Since rockmen are immune to whatever is in the drink, the slug captian instead chickens out and gives you scrap or returns to his ship and opens fire.
